We would love for people to donate to our cause in a variety of ways! We are a small independent charity and we are not in receipt of any regular formal funding.

As we aren’t part of any large umbrella charitable organisations, we do not have the associated administrative or salary costs - ALL financial donations received are spent on food items for our referrals.

We are totally reliant on food and cash donations from the general public, local councils, organisations and local companies.

You can help us help our local community in need in lots of different ways:

We also have food basket collections set up in the following supermarkets:

- Co-op Sketty (Gower Road)

- Co-op Killay (Precinct)

- Co-op Tycoch (Carnglas Road)

- Co-op Gowerton (Sterry Road)

- Co-op Killay (Gower Road)

For one off or regular cash donations, you can donate to Sketty Foodbank using Stewardship.org. If you are a tax payer, Stewardship will also instantly add the gift aid element directly to us at the point of donation.

OTHER WAYS TO DONATE

In Person

We are open every Tuesday and Wednesday to receive food donations.

We will always welcome any long life items in tins, cans and packets, toiletries and cleaning products.

Local Community Fund

The Co-op aims to make a difference to local communities via their Local Community Fund programme. Every Co-op branded item you purchase will trigger a donation from the Co-op to your chosen community cause.

Become a Co-op member by downloading the Co-op app now, click on the "Community" button (bottom right of your screen), scroll down and select Sketty Foodbank as your chosen charitable cause.
