Historic Links with John Weaver Contractors

We welcomed Terry Edwards and Joan Tamlyn from John Weaver Contractors - LTD to our foodbank yesterday morning..... and they came bearing a multitude of donations!!!

Apart from a generous cash donation to Sketty Foodbank which will be spent on sponsoring our weekly toiletries and fruit & veg packs, they had also organised a food collection amongst their staff, Tesco food vouchers from supply chain partners, cash donations from other suppliers AND...... a bumper load of 360 toilet rolls!!!

It was very special to be able to show them round our foodbank facility and how we run our operation. They were able to see us at our busiest & messiest!! Serendipitiously, we discovered that John Weaver was responsible for the building of the new Parklands main church hall.....
