Returning a favour

Mr R came to our door a few weeks ago, bringing 2 bags of food to donate to our foodbank.

He said, “I wanted to return some of the generosity you showed me when I came to foodbank and when I needed it. 5 years ago, I went to another food bank in Swansea and about 3 years ago, I started coming to Sketty Foodbank. I was really down on my luck and I didn’t have anything. When I came for food, I was even given a lift home because I couldn’t carry the food home. Every mouthful of food that I ate, I thought….. I don’t believe in God but I thanked him upstairs. I was so grateful for being helped then and I just wanted to give back. And I’ll come again and give you more.”
